Recommended in the blogosphere ...

I might not be writing much fiction, but I'm heartily reading it, at least. A big help in pointing me towards a few new books for my must-read list (although it's already about six lifetimes long) is the UK Guardian's Books blog. Check it out for all kinds of posts on book contests, book festivals, authors, and links to interviews - like this one with Marina Lewycka of Ukrainian Tractors fame. (My mum will love to read this interview after we saw Marina speak last year!)
